Chumphon Bike Week 2008 (4 days)

Day 1: Meet up at 7 am in Phuket and head north for Phang Nga. We had only ridden 45 kms and the rain stopped play. We took shelter for about 15 minutes and luckily it slowed to a drizzle.

Headed off to Phang Nga and the Kapong to pick up highway 401 to Surat Thani via Khao Sok and Phanom. We had arranged to meet some Bikers from Trang and Thung Song at the PTT station at Surat Thani (highway 41) so we could ride together to Chumphon. From Surat Thani to Chumphon the weather was clear and the riding was good.

Singapore-Malaysia-Phuket (2 days) - Asia 'Raided'!

Day1: Left Singapore 6am Saturday morning, didn't plan any sightseeing stops in Malaysia as I needed to get back to Thailand quicky (will be revisiting Malaysia in August for the Malaysia Bike Week and hope to do a Photo Tour then too!). So it really was a dash from gas station to gas station to refuel and refresh. Made very good time and had great weather all the way through Malaysia.

Chiang Mai Bike Week: a 12 day ride from Phuket to Chiang Mai. 3 days to destination.

Day 1, head north-north east through Phang Nga towards Surat Thani via Khao Sok and Ratchapapa Dam. Just before Surat Thani head north to Chumphon, Prachuap Kiri Khan and Hua Hin. Spent one night in Hua Hin. There are a good bunch of Bikers living in Hua Hin and we always have a good time there, visiting the lively bars on Soi Binta Baht.
